Job DescriptionCandidates must be local to New Jersey or ready to relocate (from Day1) and must have 5
years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining our on-premises Cisco network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Planning, execution, and migration of Nexus 9k infrastructure and connected devices to a pure spine/leaf Nexus Dashboard/VXLAN or ACI Fabric architecture Knowledge of Internet Protocols/network/services/technologies such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, SDN, VXLAN, EVPN, Leaf/Spine fabric, etc Data Center experience (Nexus, Routing
Switching This environment includes, but is not limited to:
Cisco routers, Cisco IOS switches, Cisco Nexus line and Cisco ASA firewalls Networking skills, including knowledge and understanding of IP routing, firewalls, VLANs, NAT, DNS, VPNs, networking protocols, WiFi and cellular connectivity. Experience in Cisco DC networks like Cisco Nexus Switching, network security, internet connectivity/infrastructure design and DC network migration is a must. Must have extensive knowledge of high performance data center solutions, network infrastructure LAN/WAN, network security, and enterprise wireless infrastructures Extensive experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting VLANs using CISCO equipment, to include intimate knowledge of Spanning Tree Protocol, VLAN Trunking Protocol, inter-VLAN routing, IPV6 and trunking with ISL and 802.1q Provides recommendations to Network Leadership regarding growth plans and assists with the overall design and support of the network Designs and performs equipment installations and relocation as required to support the business needs of the enterprise Configure IPv4/IPv6 based routing protocols including but not limited to OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, and IP Multicast Routing. Requirements:
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification Candidates must have at least 5 years experience configuring and managing enterprise class Cisco network systems including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, IOS and NX-OS based platforms Deep understanding to subnetting Cisco Networking:
Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, and WiFi controllers. Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network architectures. Firewall and Load Balance:
Showcase expertise in firewall and load balance technologies to ensure a secure and efficient network infrastructure. Routing Protocols:
In-depth understanding and practical experience with BGP, OSPF, DMVPN, EIGRP, and Spanning Tree protocols. DMZ Implementation:
Experience in designing, constructing, and implementing DMZ concepts. WAN Circuit Troubleshooting:
Troubleshoot Wide Area Network circuits, including 10GigE, 1GigE, SwE, OC-3, DS-3, and T1. Knowledge of Cisco network equipment including Cisco Nexus 9K series of Data Center switches Ability to create and load CISCO Configurations for network switches routers wireless controller AP Experience with DMZ concepts, construction and implementation Proficiency in routing and switching protocols, firewall configurations, and VPN technologies Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools Sr Cisco Network Engineer(On Site) Recommended Skills Architecture Border Gateway Protocol Business Requirements Cisco Cisco Certified Network Professional Cisco Pix Apply to this job.
