The candidate we are looking for will possess a positive attitude, attention to promptness and be detail oriented, self-motivated, as well as a team player.
We are a fast paced, challenging practice, requires the ability to multi-task and understand the importance of the highest quality patient care and client service.
Some responsibilities consist of, providing excellent care for both our clients and patients, assist the doctors and technicians when needed, assist with in house lab tests, re-stock exam and treatment rooms, laundry and perform other duties as assigned by technician or veterinarian.
The ability to work with Veterinary specific software, answer telephones and schedule appointment is a plus.
The willingness to work beyond a set schedule when necessary and agree to office cleaning at the end of each business day.
Applicant will have excellent references, which include knowledge of Veterinary Technical training and skills.
Additional responsibilities include assisting Doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communications, medical procedures, knowledge of Veterinary pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in surgery, and training and understanding the OSHA and Hazardous Materials Programs.
